• Decyl Glucoside is a plant-derived, non-ionic surfactant made from natural fatty alcohols (coconut/palm kernel oil) and glucose (corn starch).

• Known for its exceptional mildness and foaming ability, it is a preferred choice in sulfate-free, natural, and eco-friendly formulations.

• It cleanses effectively without irritating the skin, making it suitable for babies, sensitive skin, and natural personal care products.

• Its biodegradability and ability to work in a wide pH range make it a sustainable ingredient for shampoos, face washes, body washes, and household cleaning formulations.

Usage Percentage:

Typical Range: 4–20% depending on product type

• Facial cleansers: 4–8%

• Shampoos & body washes: 8–15%

• Household cleaners: up to 20%

How to Use:

• Add to the water phase or mix directly with other surfactants.

• Can be combined with coco-glucoside, lauryl glucoside, or amphoteric surfactants (like Cocamidopropyl Betaine) for improved foam and viscosity.

• Requires pH adjustment (ideal pH for finished product: 4.5–6.5).
