Usage Percentage

Typical dosage: 2 – 5%

• Moisturizers, serums, toners: 2 – 5%

• Acne care products: 4 – 5%

• Anti-aging formulations: 3 – 5%

• Max recommended: 10% (but may increase irritation above 6%).

How to Use

• Best incorporated into the water phase of formulations.

• Works well in emulsions (creams, lotions) and water-based serums.

• Add at <70°C to avoid degradation.

• Compatible with most actives but may hydrolyze in very low pH (<4.5), producing nicotinic acid (which causes flushing/irritation).
