• Dimethicone 350 cSt is a medium-viscosity silicone oil widely used in skincare, haircare, and cosmetic formulations for its silky slip, smooth texture, and protective barrier properties.
• It enhances spreadability, reduces tackiness, and improves skin feel in emulsions and serums.
• In haircare, it adds shine, reduces frizz, and improves detangling.
• Dimethicone 350 is non-comedogenic, chemically inert, and stable over a wide pH and temperature range, making it a reliable choice for moisturizers, sunscreens, conditioners, primers, and serums.

Usage Percentage:

Typical Range: 0.5% – 5%

• Lotions & creams: 1% – 3%

• Hair conditioners & serums: 1% – 4%

• Sunscreens & makeup: 1% – 5%

• Protective creams/ointments: up to 10% (OTC, skin protectant level)

How to Use:

• Add to the oil phase of formulations.

• Can be mixed with other silicones (Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Amodimethicone) for enhanced performance.

• Heat stable: can be processed in oil phase up to 150°C.

• Compatible with oils, esters, and most emulsifiers.

• Provides best results when emulsified in O/W or W/O systems.
