Mont L (Use as Montanov™ L) is a natural, PEG-free emulsifier derived from renewable raw materials.

• Widely used in eco-certified skincare, it forms light, fluid emulsions with a silky, non-greasy finish.
• Its high skin compatibility makes it ideal for sensitive, dry, or baby skin. With broad pH stability and versatility.
• It is the go-to emulsifier for lotions, milks, and serums, especially in natural, clean beauty formulations.

Usage Percentage

Typical dosage: 1 – 5%

• Light lotions, serums, milks: 1 – 3%

• Creams, emulsions: 3 – 5%

How to Use

• Add to the oil phase of formulations.

• Heat oil and water phases separately to 70–75°C before emulsification.

• Works best with a co-emulsifier or stabilizer (e.g., fatty alcohols, gums).

• Suitable for both cold-process (post-emulsion) additions and hot emulsions.
