Isopropyl Myristate (IPM) is a lightweight, fast-spreading ester.

Typical dosage: 2 – 15%

• Lotions & Creams: 2 – 5%

• Hair oils & Serums: 2 – 8%

• Sunscreens: 5 – 10%

• Topical pharmaceuticals & specialty formulations: up to 15%

How to Use

• Add to the oil phase of emulsions.

• Can be incorporated cold, but best added to heated oil phase for stable emulsions.

• Soluble in oils, esters, and alcohols – incompatible with high water levels unless emulsified.

• Pair with other emollients or esters for balanced skin feel.
